Contract Negotiations Meetings. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to a reasonable number of employees for the purpose of attending contract negotiations meetings. However, employees will submit notification for such leave to their immediate supervisor as soon as the employees have become aware of the appropriate dates. The Employer shall maintain the full salary and benefits of an employee on leave of absence under this clause and the Union shall then reimburse the Employer within ten (10) days of billing, provided the Employer submits such billing within 30 days of signing of this Agreement.
