Continuous Shifts. An employee employed continuously (inclusive of paid leave and/or public holidays) for five shifts Monday to Friday, will be paid ordinary time plus 50%.

Continuous Shifts. The parties recognize that certain circumstances may warrant continuous shift hours of work, working twelve (12) hours per day and with equal number of days on as days off. A continuous shift would be a shift configuration to either satisfy customer requirements where the customer operates twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, less scheduled maintenance, if applicable or to allow for increased shop utilization and provide flexible work schedules for Employees. Guidelines for this shift are listed below:
Continuous Shifts. At the County's request, if an employee works two (2) continuous shifts (normally sixteen [16] continuous hours) which is outside the employee's regular work schedule and the first eight (8) hours fall on one day and the second eight (8) hours fall on the following day, the employee shall be paid a differential of one-half (1/2) the employee's base salary rate in addition to the employee's base salary rate for the second eight (8) hours. Additionally, such employees shall be provided a meal in the hospital cafeteria at no cost to the employee.
Continuous Shifts. When a full-time Employee works beyond (either before or after their scheduled shift), they will continue to receive the shift premium, if any, determined by their starting time, or where the majority of the hours are worked. The exception to this rule involves an Employee working an additional shift. In this case, the Employee will be paid for the shift premium for that shift or the shift premium for the first full shift, whichever premium is greater.
Continuous Shifts. (a) Eight (8) Hour Continuous Shifts The Company may require a schedule that consists of forty (40) hours per week divided into five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours (Monday through Sunday workweek). This will be offered by seniority. If offered, it is understood that days off within the work week will be scheduled consecutively. All shifts to rotate.
Continuous Shifts. The County will pay overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) when applicable.

Related to Continuous Shifts

  • Continuous Service The Parties shall continue providing services to each other during the pendency of any dispute resolution procedure, and the Parties shall continue to perform their obligations (including making payments in accordance with Article IV, Section 4) in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Continuous Employment For purposes of this Agreement, the continuous employment of the Grantee with the Company or a Subsidiary shall not be deemed to have been interrupted, and the Grantee shall not be deemed to have ceased to be an employee of the Company or Subsidiary, by reason of (a) the transfer of the Grantee’s employment among the Company and its Subsidiaries or (b) an approved leave of absence.

The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.

  • Termination of Service Termination of Service shall mean the Executive’s voluntary resignation of service by the Executive or the Bank’s discharge of the Executive without cause, prior to the Normal Retirement Age (Subparagraph I [J]).

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.
