School and district leaders are responsible for building such capacity for effective professional development practices (King, 2011; Hall & Xxxx, 2011). In this distributive model, the MTSS leadership team members are tasked with providing ongoing professional development to their staff, matched to the needs of the staff, within a continuous improvement model. The MTSS leadership team is supported in this effort by those responsible for systems coaching within each particular setting. In turn, the leadership team develops a plan of action for implementing MTSS and works to incorporate it into their school/district improvement efforts annually. Professional development is a major mechanism for ensuring sustainability of what works and introducing more complex or needed improvements over time regarding staff knowledge and skills to increase efficiency and effectiveness of dataEbased decision making as well as instructional planning and evaluating of student success. Primary responsibility for guiding and monitoring implementation and sustainability of MTSS over time would be expected to fall on the leadership team. Continuous Professional Development. 5.1 The CPD undertaken by the teacher must be sufficient to satisfy the requirements of Professional Update.
Continuous Professional Development. Clinicians must demonstrate continuing practice in the provision of all aspects of diabetes care. Doctors and practice nurses providing this service should undertake regular audit, participate in formal systematic annual appraisal on what they do and take part in regular relevant supportive educational activities. Clinicians should identify this activity within annual appraisal and address identified learning needs through an agreed Personal Development Plan. Practice Nurses should either hold a relevant diploma or be working towards such a qualification.
Continuous Professional Development. Part time teachers will be given pro rata access to CPD in line with the SNCT Conditions of Service, however, access to CPD is not restricted to working days. Part-time teachers may wish to undertake additional CPD or attend an event in their school that does not occur on their normal working day. Agreement should be reached with the teacher in advance regarding remuneration. All other conditions of service will apply to part time teachers to reflect their reduced working week. A teacher’s continuous service will be unaffected by job sharing or part-time working.
Continuous Professional Development. The Consultancy agrees to maintain and be able to provide evidence of its consultants’ skills and applicable knowledge, CPD and ongoing delivery of the consulting services offered.
