Common use of Continuous Operation Clause in Contracts

Continuous Operation. In circumstances where the loading or discharging of a deepsea vessel is a continuous operation, e.g. roll-on, roll-off or a sideport operation, any persons employed under this Agreement may be required by the Employer to perform work from the stow in the vessel through to the final place of rest on the dock premises in the case of discharge, or from place of rest on the dock premises through to the stow in the vessel in the case of loading.
