Continuing Education Reimbursement. Reimbursement for seminar and conference fees, travel, and other expenses related to such seminars and conferences will be made available to nurses. The Medical Center shall make $25,000 available during each fiscal year of the contract. Each nurse may request up to $350 per year until the annual $25,000 fund is exhausted. In the event that the maximum annual fund is not exhausted prior to December 31 of each year, the balance will be available for distribution to nurses who during the fiscal year have incurred educational expenses in excess $350. To be eligible to share in any fund surplus, nurses must submit by December 31, written receipts for allowable expenses that exceed $350. The remaining fund balance will be divided equally among those nurses who submitted receipts and distributed in the first pay period after February 1 in the following year, provided, however, that a nurse’s share of the divided fund surplus cannot exceed the amount of the receipts in excess of $350 that the nurse submitted. There shall be no carryover of funds from one fiscal year to the next. The Education Committee may utilize funds remaining at the end of the fiscal year to bring in a speaker for the following year.

Continuing Education Reimbursement. An employee in a classification which has a continuing education requirement shall be reimbursed for the cost of the fees incurred to attend an Employer-approved program which helps the employee meet the continuing education requirement.
Continuing Education Reimbursement. The Board of Education encourages continuing education for their administrative staff and is willing to assist in payment of tuition costs for approved classes. Approved classes must be at the graduate level in education leadership or curriculum. In addition, movement on the Degree Level chart listed on the School Year Salary Schedule is based on the approved class and the official transcripts being received by June 30 of each year. Upon prior approval by the Superintendent or his/her designee and successful completion of the approved classes, the Board will reimburse up to a maximum Association total not to exceed $7,500.

Continuing Education Reimbursement. The County shall reimburse social workers, LMHCs, CASACs and registered professional nurses up to $400 annually in the following titles for continuing education classes needed to renew their licenses: staff social worker, licensed mental health counselor, substance abuse counselor, supervising social worker, and all registered nurses in all departments. If the employee spends less than $400, the County will reimburse the employee for the amount spent. If the employee spends more than $400, the County will reimburse the employee $400.
Continuing Education Reimbursement. 1. The City of Xxxxxxxxxx encourages employees to continue their education. The City agrees to reimburse an employee 50% of tuition costs and 100% of book costs upon the successful completion of an approved planned program directed toward a job- related degree. To be eligible to participate in the reimbursement program, employees must agree to a planned program of courses leading to a job-related degree and receive prior written approval from the department head and the City Manager. Once their plan has been accepted by the City, employees need only to submit individual course enrollment to the department head for approval. Reimbursement will be made following the successful completion of each semester's courses.
