Continuing Education Hours. The District and the Association agree that participation in the SPG Cycle may require additional time for practitioners to complete all components. Therefore, practitioners may earn up to, but not to exceed, 20 hours of Continuing Education hours during their participation in SPG when documented activities are in accordance with these guidelines:

Continuing Education Hours. College credit hours which do not qualify as applicable graduate hours as defined in Section I. A. herein and which are deemed by the President to be of general benefit to the professional employee in the provision of that employee's services to the college.
Continuing Education Hours. Full-time professional employees (15 or more credit hours or equivalent per semester) who enroll in and successfully complete other relevant continuing education courses, which do not qualify as applicable graduate hours, as defined in paragraph I. A. herein, shall be eligible to receive up to $200.00 per credit hour or full tuition, whichever is less, with the pre-approval of the Chief Academic Officer.
Continuing Education Hours. All continuing education programs certified by the BRN and which are job related as defined in 14.7.1.b and accredited by the State of California for re-licensure shall qualify for educational assistance under the terms for reimbursement set forth in 14.7 and 14.8. In addition, all the Employer sponsored Continuing Education hours shall qualify for educational assistance under the terms for reimbursement.
Continuing Education Hours. Continuing education hours (CEUs) for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses may only be applied for after verification by HSI of successful completion and payment by students of applicable fees.

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Continuing Education Allowance (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.

  • Public Education 7.1.01 Inform and educate the public about vaccines and vaccine- preventable diseases

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund, one (1¢) cent per hour per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions.
