Continuing Education and Professional Development Expenses. Each calendar year the Employer will assist in the payment of expenses for healthcare related continuing education and professional development programs, such as course tuition, and registration fees, up to the amounts set forth for each nurse in the following reimbursement schedule. Such financial assistance shall be subject to verification of attendance and/or completion of the course. Unused amounts may be carried over from one calendar year to the next, for up to three (3) years. Nurses should access the Joint Employer Training and Education Fund for financial assistance associated with certification exams. Reimbursement shall be paid within two pay periods from the date the complete and accurate paperwork is submitted to Payroll for reimbursement.
