Continuing Education and Professional Development. The Company shall pay for the professional licenses of the Executive in all states in which he is licensed, and shall reimburse the Executive for all reasonable and customary costs incurred in his complying with any continuing education requirements required to maintain his license(s).

Because of the unique responsibilities of nursing and continuing education requirements, nurses will have an opportunity for continuing education that is job-related or relevant to nurse practice, upon completion of their probationary period. All nurses, upon request, will be granted six (6) paid days off per calendar year to take educational courses that are job-related or relevant to nurse practice. Continuing education may be used on an hourly basis. Requests for additional release time may be granted at the Employer’s discretion. The Principal will then discuss the complaint in detail with the Client at the earliest opportunity. • If the Client is dissatisfied with the outcome of the initial discussion, then the Client is asked to write to the Firm setting out the Clients complaint and reasons for dissatisfaction, as well as the Clients reasoned proposal for resolution of the complaint. • On receipt of a written complaint the Firm will promptly write to the Client with its response to the matters raised by the Client and with its proposal for a fair resolution of the complaint. • If the Client does not wish to refer any complaint to the Principal then you may refer the complaint to Xxxx Dangen by telephoning her on (021) 648 306. • If the Client is not satisfied with the result of the Firms complaint procedures, then the Client has the right to lodge a written complaint with the New Zealand Law Society’s complaints service which can be contacted on 0800 261 801. Lawyers Fidelity Fund If the Instructions involve or result in the Firm being entrusted by the Client with money or other valuable property, the Client is protected by the Lawyers Fidelity Fund if the money or property is taken by theft by the Firm or any of its employees or agents. VI RESEARCH COLLABORATION From time to time, the parties may decide to collaborate on research projects. In cases where such collaboration involves a joint application to a funding agency or organization, the application will be made in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures of both parties. Should one party wish to contract research to the other party, the former will enter into an agreement with the latter to carry out the work on terms and conditions which are acceptable to both parties. Any funding arrangements between the parties will be formalized in a separate agreement setting out terms and conditions and approved in accordance with the policies of each party.
