Contingent Facilities Sample Clauses

Contingent Facilities. Transmission Provider shall identify the Contingent Facilities in the System Impact Studies by reviewing unbuilt Interconnection Facilities and/or Network Upgrades, upon which the New Service Request’s cost, timing and study findings are dependent and, if delayed or not built, could cause a need for interconnection restudies of the New Service Request or reassessment of the Network Upgrades. The method for identifying Contingent Facilities shall be sufficiently transparent to determine why a specific Contingent Facility was identified and how it relates to the New Service Request. Transmission Provider shall include the list of the Contingent Facilities in the System Impact Study(ies) and Generator Interconnection Agreement, including why a specific Contingent Facility was identified and how it relates to the New Service Request. Transmission Provider shall also provide, upon request of the Project Developer or Eligible Customer, the estimated Interconnection Facility and/or Network Upgrade costs and estimated in-service completion time of each identified Contingent Facility when this information is readily available and non-commercially sensitive.

Contingent Facilities. If applicable, the Study Report indicates that the analysis regarding necessary interconnection upgrades assumed the completion and operation of one or more Contingent Facilities projects. The Contingent Facilities are necessary for QF Interconnection Service to Generator. As addressed in Section 2.7.B (Change Events), GPC may add the Contingent Facilities to the Interconnection Facilities Project scope if the Contingent Facilities project: (a) has not provided notice to proceed and payment before Generator provides Notice to Proceed per Section 1.5.G (Notice to Proceed); or (b) is suspended, terminated, or fails to reach commercial operation before completion of the Upgrade Project(s).
Contingent Facilities. As identified in the System Impact Study for this project dated May 18, 2018 and the Facilities Study dated October 19, 2018 the following Network Upgrades are required to be in-service prior to the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility: • Q721: Installation of fiber optic cable between the Point of Interconnection substation and Beth’s Butte communications site to be constructed as part of the Interconnection Request that was studied under queue position 721. • Construction of new 230 kV transmission infrastructure connecting the Transmission Provider’s Southern Oregon/Northern California load pock to its Willamette/Portland load pocket including the following: o Construction of two new line positions in BPA Xxxxx substation. o Construction of two new line positions in Fry substation. o Construction of two new line positions in Bethel substation. o Construction of a new line position in XxXxxxxxxx substation. o Construction of a new line position in Xxxxxx substation. o Construction of a new line position in Xxxxxxx substation. o Construction of the new 230-115 kV Troutdale South substation. o Construction of a new line position in Holladay substation. o Rebuild the Xxxxx-Xxx 230 kV transmission line to double circuit. o Rebuild the Xxxxxx-Xxx 230 kV transmission line to double circuit. o Rebuild the Xxxxxx-XxXxxxxxxx 230 kV transmission line to double circuit. o Rebuild the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxxx 230 kV transmission line to double circuit. o Rebuild the Troutdale-Knott transmission line to 115 kV. o Construct various upgrades to the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxxxx transmission line. If the schedule for completion of these upgrades changes the dependent milestones for the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Request must be modified accordingly.
Contingent Facilities. Specific transmission or distribution facilities that are not yet in operation, but that are proposed as part of another entity’s project pursuant to an interconnection request submitted prior to Generator’s QF Interconnection Request. DCC: GPC’s Distribution Control Center Default: A Party’s breach of a QFIA warranty, representation, or covenant or failure to perform a material QFIA obligation that is not timely cured in accordance with Section 4.4 (Default).
Contingent Facilities. Specific transmission facilities that are not yet in operation, but that are proposed as part of another entity’s project pursuant to an interconnection request submitted prior to Generator’s QF Interconnection Request.
Contingent Facilities. Higher queue and/or same DPP group study Interconnection Requests that may create contingencies pursuant to Article 11.3.1 are listed in tables below. Table A10-1 describes transmission assumptions modeled in the studies that were deemed necessary to allow for the Interconnection Service as described in Appendix A of this GIA and is not related to Article 11.3.1, i.e., does not describe projects associated with a higher queued and/or same DPP group study Interconnection Request. Nevertheless, if the transmission assumptions are not completed or significantly modified, the Interconnection Service granted under this GIA may be restricted until such time as the Interconnection Customer funds a study to determine the applicable ERIS and NRIS level that results due to the changes in Table A10-1. The list of higher-queued and/or same DPP group study projects in Tables A10-2 and A10-3, not yet in service, were included in the interconnection study for queue project J711. However, a project’s inclusion in the System Impact Study does not necessarily mean that these facilities would be contingencies for the Interconnection Customer's Generating Facility. In the event that any of the higher queued and/or same DPP group study generators were to drop out, then the Interconnection Customer may be subject to restudy pursuant to Article 11.3.2. Minimum Thresholds to Identify Contingent Facilities i1. Load Flow Violations Load flow violations will be identified based on an impact on an overload of at least 5 percent distribution factor (DFAX) or contributing at least 5 percent of the facility rating in the applicable model. ii2. Short Circuit Violations Short circuit violations will be identified based on the following criteria: any contribution to an overloaded facility where the New Service Request increases the fault current impact by at least 1% or greater of the rating in the applicable model.
