Construction Overhead Costs. The Construction Overhead Costs are inclusive of all direct and incidental expenses including but not limited to toll telephone calls, facsimile charges, postage and use of courier services, photocopying and reproduction expenses, travel costs, sustenance, reproduction, salaries, wages, and field office expenses, based upon Actual Cost not exceeding, in the aggregate, the amounts for construction overhead items shown on the completed Project Cost Matrix in Exhibit E. The maximum allowable amount the Owner shall be liable to the Design-Builder for Construction Overhead Costs is shown in Exhibit E and the aggregate of all Overhead Costs and Expenses shall not exceed the amount shown in Paragraph 6 of the Contract.

Construction Overhead Costs. Design Builder shall be reimbursed for all reasonable construction overhead costs and expenses incurred in the performance of Design Builder's Contract Services and Work in the Construction Phase under this Agreement, including, without limitation, (i) toll telephone calls, facsimile charges, postage and use of courier services; (ii) photocopying and reproduction expenses; (iii) travel costs, (iv) and direct salary expenses, based upon Actual Cost not exceeding the maximum amounts in the Design Builder’s proposal, shown on Exhibit A, or in the aggregate, the amounts for overhead items shown on the completed Project Cost Matrix in Exhibit E.

Related to Construction Overhead Costs

  • Construction Costs Under no circumstances shall the Consultant be liable for extra costs or other consequences due to unknown conditions or related to the failure of contractors to perform work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Consultant shall have no liability whatsoever for any costs arising out of the Client’s decision to obtain bids or proceed with construction before the Consultant has issued final, fully-approved plans and specifications. The Client acknowledges that all preliminary plans are subject to substantial revision until plans are fully approved and all permits obtained.

  • DIRECT CONSTRUCTION COST Direct Construction Cost means the sum of the amounts that Contractor actually and necessarily incurs constructing the Project in strict compliance with the Construction Documents. Direct Construction Cost includes only the cost categories set forth in this Article and does not include the Pre-Construction Phase Fees or the Construction Phase Fees unless specifically noted. References in the UGSC to adjustments in “cost” or “costs” mean the Direct Construction Cost.

  • Construction Phase Payments 10.3.1 Payments for Construction Phase Services shall be made as provided for in the UGSC and Owner’s Specifications. All payment requests shall be submitted through e- Builder® with a Schedule of Values and include all required attachments. Payment for approved Change Orders shall be made as part of Contractor’s Application for Payment. Failure to submit a Prime Contractor Progress Assessment Report form with each Application for Payment will cause rejection of the application by Owner and its return to Contractor.

  • Construction Budget The total amount indicated by the District for the Project plus all other costs, including design, construction, administration, financing, and all other costs.

  • Construction Work The regulation at 41 C.F.R. § 60-1.3 defines “construction work” as the construction, rehabilitation, alteration, conversion, extension, demolition or repair of buildings, highways, or other changes or improvements to real property, including facilities providing utility services. The term also includes the supervision, inspection, and other onsite functions incidental to the actual construction.

  • Construction Phase Fee Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee is the maximum amount payable to Contractor for any cost or profit expectation incurred in the performance of the Work that is not specifically identified as being eligible for reimbursement by Owner elsewhere in this Agreement. References in the UGSC to Contractor’s “overhead” and “profit” mean Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee. The Construction Phase Fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items:

  • Construction Cost 3.1. Construction Cost does not include the fees of the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER and consultants, the cost of the land, rights- of-way, or other costs, which is the responsibility of the State as provided in Paragraphs 2.2 through 2.3. or any of the contingencies available for the project unless specifically stated otherwise.
