Construction Observer. The responsibilities of the Construction Observer shall include monitoring all aspects of the job, sampling materials for acceptance, conducting tests on embankment and excavation areas, reviewing and analyzing all test results, assuring that work is within specification limits, advising the Contractor’s Superintendent and Project Engineer of nonconformance and possible corrective actions, and measuring quantities for payment. Construction Observer. The authorized representative of CONSULTANT assigned to assist CONSULTANT at the site during construction. As used herein, the term CONSTRUCTION OBSERVER includes any assistants or field staff of CONSTRUCTION OBSERVER agreed to by OWNER. The duties and responsibilities of the CONSTRUCTION OBSERVER, if any, are as set forth in the “Basic Services” of Attachment A.

Construction Observer. Provide the services of a construction observer during the project who will make periodic visits to observe the contractor’s work on an as needed basis. The on site observer will also be responsible for coordinating with the neighbors. The construction observer will prepare daily reports and coordinate with the contractor, project engineer and County on the progress of the work and to address construction problems so as to maintain the agreed upon schedule. The services of the on-site observer are assumed to be needed for the specified construction period. Task 5Change Order Review Review proposals for change orders, prepare drawings and the necessary documentation.
Construction Observer. ‌ The “Construction Observer” or the “Observer” shall mean the County’s employee or a contracted consultant who performs construction engineering and inspection services for the Project.

  • Construction Observation The Consultant shall make periodic on-site observations of the Project in accordance with Exhibit A.   • Right to Observe Testing Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each notify the other Party, and the NYISO, in advance of its performance of tests of its Attachment Facilities. The other Party, and the NYISO, shall each have the right, at its own expense, to observe such testing.

  • Maintenance, Repairs and Alterations Landlord hereby covenants that the Premises shall be in reasonably good and usable condition as of the effective date of this Agreement. Replacements made by Landlord, if any, shall belong to it. Landlord shall, at its sole expense, make structural repairs and replacements to the footings, foundation and structural elements of walls and roofs of the Premises and also shall be responsible for maintenance, repairs and replacements, at its sole expense, of heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems, provided, however, that Tenant, at its sole expense, shall be responsible for maintenance, repairs and replacements regarding the irrigation system on the Premises as well as Tenant's occupancy costs as described above in Section 4 of this Agreement and shall also be responsible for maintenance, repairs or replacements necessitated by Tenant's actions. If removal of the improvements or alterations would cause damage to the Premises, said improvements and alterations shall automatically become the property of Landlord. Tenant, at its sole expense, shall be responsible for maintenance, repairs and replacements of any additions, improvements or alterations made by Tenant on, in or to the Premises. Tenant shall keep the Premises in good order, repair and condition at all times during the Agreement term, except for ordinary wear and tear.

  • Routine Maintenance, Construction, and Repair The NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output of the Small Generating Facility and temporarily disconnect the Small Generating Facility from the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System when necessary for routine maintenance, construction, and repairs on the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System. The NYISO or the Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the Interconnection Customer with five Business Days notice prior to such interruption. The NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner shall use Reasonable Efforts to coordinate such reduction or temporary disconnection with the Interconnection Customer.

  • Construction and Maintenance There are on-going maintenance, renovation and construction projects taking place in and around the residences. The work typically takes place during regular business hours, but may begin earlier or extend into evenings or weekends. On-going construction or renovation projects will continue through midterm and final exam periods. The University will take measures to ensure that prudent construction practices are followed, but there may be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services. Residents may be required to temporarily or permanently relocate to facilitate construction or renovation to their residence area. There will be no compensation or reduction to your residence fees due to disruption and/or relocation.

  • MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS, OR ALTERATIONS The Tenant shall, at their own expense and at all times, maintain premises in a clean and sanitary manner, and shall surrender the same at termination hereof, in as good condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted. The Tenant may not make any alterations to the leased premises without the consent in writing of the Landlord. The Landlord shall be responsible for repairs to the interior and exterior of the building. If the Premises includes a washer, dryer, freezer, dehumidifier unit and/or air conditioning unit, the Landlord makes no warranty as to the repair or replacement of units if one or all shall fail to operate. The Landlord will place fresh batteries in all battery-operated smoke detectors when the Tenant moves into the premises. After the initial placement of the fresh batteries it is the responsibility of the Tenant to replace batteries when needed. A monthly "cursory" inspection may be required for all fire extinguishers to make sure they are fully charged.
