Construction Meeting. At date and time selected by the City and at facilities provided by the City, conduct preconstruction conference. Olsson shall prepare an agenda for the conference and prepare and distribute minutes. The preconstruction conference will include a discussion of the Contractor’s tentative schedule, procedures for transmittal and review of the Contractor’s submittal, processing payment applications, critical work sequencing, change orders, record documents, and the Contractor’s responsibilities for safety and first aid.

Construction Meeting. Submittals shall be reviewed and approved by the Engineer prior to scheduling the pre- construction meeting. Allow no less than 2 weeks for a review process. When requesting a pre-construction meeting, contact the Engineer at least 7 working days in advance of the desired pre-construction date. The contractor’s project supervisor, Competent person, quality control personnel and certified traffic control supervisor shall be in attendance at the pre-construction meeting in order for the Contractor and NCDOT team to establish responsibilities for various personnel during project duration and to establish realistic timeframes for problem escalation. Containment System Prior to performing any construction or painting operations on the structure, the Contractor shall furnish the Engineer with plans and design calculations for a sufficiently designed containment system, which will provide access for any repairs on structural steel members, cleaning and surface preparations for structural steel members, and coating operations for structural steel members of the bridge. The containment system shall not be installed, and no work shall begin, until the Engineer has reviewed and approved, in writing, the submitted containment system plans and design calculations. Containment system plans and design calculations shall be prepared, sealed, and signed by a Professional Engineer licensed by the State of North Carolina. Allow a minimum of two weeks for review of the containment plans and calculations. The containment system shall meet or exceed the requirements of Class 2A containment in accordance with SSPC Guide 6. The Contractor shall determine the required capacity of the containment system which, at a minimum, shall include loads due to wind, repair materials and repair operations, equipment, and tools; however, the capacity shall not be less than that required by Federal or State regulations. Design steel members to meet the requirements of the American Institute of Steel Construction Manual. Design timber members in accordance with the “National Design Specification for Stress-Grade Lumber and Its Fastenings” of the National Forest Products Association. The containment system shall be constructed of materials capable of withstanding damage from any of the work required on this project and shall be fireproof. These will be provided to the City as part of the overall project final deliverables. Construction Coordination Meetings KTUA anticipates participating in bi-weekly construction coordination meetings including the contractor and City representatives to coordinate construction progress, issue coordination and resolution, and RFI and submittal tracking.

Construction Meeting. Prior to commencing any -------------------------- installation and/or construction, a duly authorized representative of Lessee shall meet with a duly authorized representative of Lessor at the Tower Site to mutually approve the construction schedule, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed by either party. Lessor and Lessee agree to cooperate with one another in scheduling such pre-construction meeting.

Should the Xxxxxxx be changed during the course, the Contractor will schedule another pre-construction meeting, as listed above, with the new Contractor’s Xxxxxxx and the Owner’s Project team.

Negotiate with the Contractor’s to assist in obtaining a fair price for the work. Said negotiation will be subject to the approval of the Client. • Review Monthly Contractor Pay Requests Review and process the Contractor’s monthly payment requests and forward them to the Client for approval. Review will be for the purpose of making a full independent mathematical check of the Contractor’s payment request. • Final Completion Inspection Upon completion or correction of the items of work on the punch list, conduct final inspection to determine whether the work is complete. Provide written recommendations concerning final payment to the Client, including a list of items, if any, to be completed prior to the making of such.
