Common use of Construction Document Phase Clause in Contracts

Construction Document Phase. 1.4.1 Based on the approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project or in the Project Construction Cost Limitation authorized by the Owner, the Project Architect shall prepare, for approval by the Owner, Construction Documents consisting of Drawings and Specifications in accordance with Owner’s written requirements setting forth in detail the requirements for construction of the Project, including, without limitation, Owner’s Design Guidelines and any additional requirements contained in Article 14. The plans, drawings and specifications for the entire Project shall be prepared so that the construction of the building and related facilities, including built-in permanent fixtures and equipment, will cost no more than the Construction Cost Limitation established by Owner. The Project Architect is responsible for managing the design to stay within the Construction Cost Limitation.
