Construction Details. The Project will construct a riprap buttress at a landslide on the right bank of the Creek. The construction will excavate soil, create a keyway at the base of the bank and horizontal benches on the bank, place filter fabric over the excavation, and backfill the excavation with riprap conforming in size to Caltrans Facing Class. The riprap buttress will be inclined at a 1.5:1 (H:V) slope face (Att. A, Drawing No. 5). The volume of riprap to be installed below the top of bank will be approximately 230 cubic yards. Construction Details. The Contractor shall furnish and install the Broadband Communication System Assembly equipment as designated on the plans. The Contractor shall liaise with building owners on behalf of the Broadband Communication System Owner and shall be responsible to obtain System installation permissions from the building owners. Memorandums Of Understanding have been established between building owners and the System owner for the installation of the hardware equipment at the buildings. The Contractor shall provide Detailed Designs and installation of Electrical Power circuits as required and approved by the building owner. Construction Details. The work required to provide the above equipment and service for mobilization shall be done in a safe and workmanlike manner and shall conform with any pertinent local, State, or Federal Law, regulation or code, and be in accordance with the General Provisions and Special Conditions. Good housekeeping consistent with safety shall be maintained. 698-4 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT. Payment for mobilization will be made on a lump sum basis. 698-5 BASIS OF PAYMENT. The amount bid for mobilization shall not exceed five percent (5%) of the total contract bid price excluding the bid price for mobilization. Should the bidder exceed the foregoing five percent (5%), the City will make the necessary adjustment to determine the total amount bid based on the arithmetically correct proposal.
