Construction Cost Estimate. At 50% completion of the contract documents, the design team will present and submit copies of the project plans and manual. The Construction Administrator will prepare and issue the fourth of five construction cost estimates. The estimate shall be derived from actual takeoffs, subcontractor and vendor input, and material and labor cost data. All quantitative systems information shall be provided in detail.

Construction Cost Estimate. Following issuance of design development documents, the Construction Administrator will prepare and issue the third of five construction cost estimates. The estimate shall be derived from actual takeoffs, subcontractor and vendor input, and material and labor cost data. All quantitative systems information shall be provided in detail. The Construction Administrator will immediately notify the DAS Project Manager if and when it becomes apparent the construction budget is exceeding the established budget (including inflation through construction) for the building and sitework.
Construction Cost Estimate. The Design Professional shall prepare a detailed Construction Cost Estimate of the completed Design Development Documents that includes all District review comments from previous design phases. Mark- ups, contingencies and escalations shall be as mutually agreed between the Design Professional and the District. If the Construction Cost Estimate materially exceeds the District’s Construction Budget for the Project by more than 10%, without fault or neglect of the District, the Design Professional shall revise the Design Development Documents so that the detailed Design Development Cost Estimate conforms to the District’s Construction Budget for the Project. The validation of the revised Design Development Documents shall appear in the Construction Design Documents to reflect the Design Development Document changes that bring the project back into compliance with the District’s Construction Budget.
Construction Cost Estimate. The Class B Construction Cost Estimate is an estimate of the Construction Cost with a level of precision that is based on the degree of completion of the Contract Documents at the time of preparation of the estimate. The Class B Construction Cost Estimate is typically prepared when all site or installation investigations are completed and the design of the major systems and sub-systems of the Project (including outline specifications and preliminary drawings and models) are well underway. Class B Construction Cost Estimate shall be presented in elemental format and include labour and material costs, allowance for all costs resulting from the Project schedule, all actual associated costs, including cash allowances, contingencies, allowances for design, escalation, market conditions and anticipated amendment amounts as applicable.
Construction Cost Estimate. The Class C Construction Cost Estimate is an estimate of the Construction Cost based on updated Owner requirements, general description of the Project, preliminary site information and existing conditions, and takes into consideration market conditions as well as basic implementation logistics. Class C Construction Cost Estimate shall include labour and material costs and the Owner’s construction contingencies and allowances.
Construction Cost Estimate. The Class D Construction Cost Estimate is an estimate of the Construction Cost based on the Owner’s functional requirements to the degree known at the time. The Class D Construction Cost Estimate shall as a minimum be based on historical cost data for similar projects, suitably adjusted for such factors as inflation, location, risk, quality, size, and time. All related factors affecting cost are considered to the extent possible. The Class D Construction Cost Estimate provides the Owner an indication of the order of magnitude of the Construction Cost for a project completed within the estimated completion date, and shall include labour and material costs and the Owner’s construction contingencies and allowances. Change Directive A Change Directive is a written instruction prepared by the Consultant and signed by the Owner directing the Construction Manager to proceed with a change in the Work within the general scope of this Contract prior to the Owner and the Construction Manager agreeing upon an adjustment in any or all of the Construction Manager’s Fee, the Guaranteed Maximum Price and the Contract Time.
Construction Cost Estimate. Construction Cost Estimates are detailed estimates prepared by or on behalf of the Design Professional of the then current costs of labor, materials, equipment and services plus a reasonable allowance for the Contractor’s profit, overhead and administrative costs as necessary to complete construction of the Project in accordance with the Design Documents. Construction Cost Estimates shall include a reasonable allowance for contingencies relating to market conditions at the time of solicitation of Contractor bids for the Work of the Project and shall accurately estimate the full value of the Project scope included in the Project Construction Budget.

Construction Cost Estimate. The total cost to District of all elements of each Project designed or specified by the Architect, as adjusted at the end of each design phase in accordance with this Agreement. The Construction Cost Estimate does not include the compensation of the Program Manager, the Architect and the Architect’s consultants, any Program Manager, the cost of the land, rights-of-way, financing or other costs which are the responsibility of the District, including construction management.
