CITY staff will run the preconstruction meeting, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes, as necessary.

Construction Administration Support. The ENGINEER will prepare agendas for Construction Progress Meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes. It is anticipated that meetings will be conducted every two weeks over a 12 month construction period. The ENGINEER will also review monthly pay applications from the CONTRACTOR, consider and negotiate change orders from the CONTRACTOR, and project project management and coordination activities that are sufficient to oversee the CONTRACTOR’s work. On the basis of on-site examination of materials, equipment, and workmanship, The ENGINEER will keep the City informed of the progress of the work, will endeavor to identify defects and deficiencies in such work and may disapprove or reject work failing to conform to the Contract Documents. The ENGINEER will track the construction schedule and prepare progress reports. While performing these duties, The ENGINEER will not be responsible for the acts or omissions of any CONTRACTOR, or subcontractor, or any of the CONTRACTOR' or subcontractor(s)' agents or employees or any other persons (except The ENGINEER' own employees and agents) at the site(s) or otherwise performing any of the Contractor(s)' work; however, this will not release The ENGINEER from liability for failure to properly perform duties in accordance with this scope of services. This task also includes coordination with the City and design team as necessary to discuss and coordinate submittals, RFIs, and other design related matters.

Related to Construction Administration Support

  • Construction Administration Redeveloper shall be responsible for all components of the Redeveloper Improvements constructed by Redeveloper including construction management, coordination of contractors and regulatory permitting and other requirements. Redeveloper and its contractor(s) shall reasonably cooperate with City contractors performing work in the vicinity of the Redevelopment Project Area including, but not limited to, Redeveloper's scheduling of its work to provide for a smooth sequence of operations. The Redeveloper will be solely responsible for payment of all construction costs for the Redeveloper Improvements as set forth in this Redevelopment Agreement.

  • Construction Administration Services The Engineer shall perform construction administration services during construction as necessary. Such services shall, as part of the services to be rendered for the Engineer's established fee, include as much of the Engineer's professional services and the services of the Engineer's consultants as the State deems necessary for the well-being of the project and efficient prosecution of the construction work, but shall not include the Engineer's undertaking continuous on-site observation of the work. If the Engineer fails to perform such duties in a conscientious and reasonable manner, the State may exercise its right to terminate this contract as hereinafter provided in Section T. Additionally, it is understood and agreed to by the Engineer and the State that the duties of the Engineer shall include, but not be limited to, the following services:

  • CONSTRUCTION MANAGER’S RESPONSIBILITIES The Construction Manager’s Preconstruction Phase responsibilities are set forth in Sections 2.1 and 2.2. The Construction Manager’s Construction Phase responsibilities are set forth in Section 2.3. The Owner and Construction Manager may agree, in consultation with the Architect, for the Construction Phase to commence prior to completion of the Preconstruction Phase, in which case, both phases will proceed concurrently. The Construction Manager shall identify a representative authorized to act on behalf of the Construction Manager with respect to the Project.
