If extensive changes from the Predesign Study are required, the Design Professional’s compensation and schedule may be equitably adjusted. In the event no Predesign Study exists, the Design Professional shall design in accordance with the Program provided by the Owner, taking into consideration the value of alternative materials, building systems, equipment, maintenance costs, budget, and other considerations in its design. In the event the Predesign Study or Program is more than one year old, or the program requirements or assumptions have changed from those utilized in the Predesign Study the Design Professional shall consult with the Owner in order to update the Predesign Study or Program, if required, as an Additional Service. If the Predesign Study is updated, it must be forwarded to Office of Planning and Budget for review.
