Common use of Consideration for Employment Clause in Contracts

Consideration for Employment. The Contractor shall not discriminate in its employment practices against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability. Such employment practices include, but are not limited to, recruitment, hiring, layoff or termination, promotion, demotion, transfer, rates of pay, training, and participation in other forms of upward mobility programs, or other forms of compensation and use of facilities. Furthermore, the Contractor shall, in all solicitations and advertisements for employees, state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability.
