Common use of Consent of Bank Clause in Contracts

Consent of Bank. β€Œ Wherever the Borrower is required by this Charge to obtain the consent or approval of the Bank, it is agreed that such consent or approval shall be in writing and, subject to any other specific provision contained in this Charge to the contrary, the Bank may give or withhold its consent or approval for any reason that it may see fit in its sole and absolute discretion, and the Bank shall not be liable to the Borrower in damages or otherwise for its failure or refusal to give or withhold such consent or approval, and all Costs of obtaining such approval shall be for the account of the Borrower.
