Conference Travel. Employees shall be compensated the equivalent of the employee’s regular work day for approved non-mandated conference travel.

Conference Travel. Employees shall be compensated for release time approved for attending conference conferences, workshops, trainings, and associated travel that occurs during the employee’s normal work day. If weekend travel is required by the District unit members will be compensated overtime for hours traveled.
Conference Travel. Prior approval is required in accordance with section 112.061, F.S., and must be certified on Form DF-AA-13 (State of Florida Authorization to Incur Travel Expense) (previously numbered C- 676C) with a copy of the program or agenda of the conference attached. Reimbursement is in accordance with the provisions of the clause above entitled Travel. See CFOP 40-1 for further explanation, clarification, and instruction.
Conference Travel a) Conference Hotel When a conference or event is held in a particular hotel, the Traveler is not precluded from staying at that conference or event hotel if such expenses would exceed the federal destination per diem limit under the LAAC. In addition, Federal Travel Regulations Section 301-11.300 provides for circumstances when actual expenses are warranted, including when “lodging and/or meals are procured at a prearranged place, such as a hotel where a meeting, conference or training session is held …” Proper documentation such as brochure or literature indicating the event is being held in a particular hotel must be submitted and approved since the Department Head can require the Traveler to stay at a hotel with a lower rate. In addition, if the conference hotel rate exceeds the federal rate by 200 percent, the Traveler should select alternative lodging.
Conference Travel. For all conference travel, a copy of the conference brochure and any other backup documentation will be submitted to Finance with the completed Expense Report.
Conference Travel. Any travel outside of the District must relate to the specific goals and objectives agreed to by the Board of Trustees and Interim Chancellor. Requests for travel expenses to be paid or reimbursed by the District must be pre- approved by the Board officers in writing and in accordance with the District’s policies. Conference related travel shall be limited to $5000 for the term of this Agreement.

  • Conference Promptly after the execution of this Contract, Contractor shall confer with the Program Manager, Design Professional, Owner, and Using Agency to identify personnel and relevant organizational charts of each team member, and to establish working relationships with each team member.

  • Conference Leave Upon written request, supported by a copy of an invitation, an employee shall be granted leave paid at full salary of up to two thirty-fifths of her Appointment Contract(s) to present papers at academic conferences. Such leave shall not be claimed if an authorized exchange of services agreeable to the employee can be arranged.

  • Conference Attendance Effective October 1, 1996, unit employees shall be entitled to up to four (4) days administrative leave of absence within any two consecutive fiscal years subject to the following conditions:

  • Labor Management Conferences The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Such meetings shall be scheduled within one week of either party submitting an agenda to the other, or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties, and shall be limited to:

  • Parent Conferences A. 1. Elementary and exceptional education schools shall be dismissed early a minimum of four (4) half days during the school year to grant teachers time for parent-teacher conferences.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties.

  • Conference Committee The Conference Committee shall meet at least quarterly. It shall consist of the three elected representatives of the nurses plus one clinical unit representative appointed by the nurse bargaining unit, and an Association staff member, and five representatives of the Employer to include the Chief Nursing Executive and/or designee and one member of the Employer’s contract negotiating team. The purpose of the Conference Committee is to act in an advisory capacity to xxxxxx problem solving through communications between the Employer and nurses in the bargaining unit and deal with matters of nursing practice and general concern to the parties. Major organizational or policy changes in the nursing department that have a direct bearing on nursing practice or working conditions shall be an appropriate subject for discussion by the Conference Committee. Attendance at Conference Committee will be considered work time and will be paid at the regular rate of pay. A general group “grievance” as defined in this Agreement coming before the Conference Committee which is not resolved by the parties may be submitted in accordance with Article 18 at Step Two of the Grievance Procedure.
