Conditions for using the vehicle The vehicle must only be driven by the person(s) named in the Agreement, or by anyone Avis authorises in writing. Anyone driving the vehicle must have held a full current driving licence for at least one year and be at least 23 years old and have no endorsements or convictions on their driving licence which are unacceptable to us. Renter or any authorised driver must not: • Use the vehicle for hire or reward. • Use the vehicle to transport any hazardous, toxic, flammable, corrosive, radioactive, harmful, dangerous or illegal materials. • Use the vehicle for any illegal purpose. • Use the vehicle off-road, or for racing, pacemaking, testing the vehicle’s reliability and speed or teaching someone to drive. • Use the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • Carry a number of passengers and/or baggage which would cause the vehicle to be overloaded; or in the case of a commercial vehicle a carrier payload which exceeds the maximum payload and individual axle plated weights or for a purpose which requires an Operator’s Licence where Xxxxxx does not have one. • Drive the vehicle outside the United Kingdom unless Avis has given Renter written permission.

Conditions for using this vehicle The vehicle must only be driven by you or any other person who has not first been authorised by us and added to the agreement. Anyone driving the vehicle must have a current, full driving licence valid in the UK for the type of vehicle rented and held for a minimum of two years and meet the age requirements. Authorised drivers must have a clean driving licence record, although certain endorsements may be accepted with prior permission from our insurance company

Failure to provide and maintain all required insurance shall be grounds for the City to terminate this Agreement for cause.

  • Reasons for Layoff Layoff shall occur only for lack of work or lack of funds.

  • Required Qualifications for Surety The Contract provides that the surety and insurance companies must be acceptable to the Owner. Only those sureties listed in the Department of Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570) are acceptable to the Owner. All bonds at the time of issuance must be issued by a company authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact the business of suretyship in the State of Georgia, and shall have a Best Policyholders Rating of "A-" or better and with a financial size rating of Class V or larger.

  • Attachment C, Standard State Provisions for Contracts and Grants Attachment C is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced by the Attachment C December 15, 2017 attached to this Amendment.
