Conditions for Use of Sick Leave. An employee may use sick leave credits for personal illness, quarantine, communicable disease, injury, disability (including pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth and recovery there from), adoption as prescribed below, medical appointments; or for the necessary care of or attendance to a spouse or one’s minor child in terms of legal guardianship for the above reasons. Three days shall be granted for the attendance to an immediate family member other than spouse or child as stated above. Additional days may be granted at the discretion of the District. Discretionary leave will not be granted until all other paid leave has been used. Where sick leave is used for other than spouse or minor child, the person must be under or require the immediate care of a licensed physician.

Conditions for Use of Sick Leave. (1) An employee may use sick leave credits for: illness; injury; medical disability; maternity-related disability, including prenatal care, birth, miscarriage, abortion or other medical care for either employee or child; parental leave as provided in ARM 2.21.1001 et seq.; quarantine resulting from exposure to contagious disease; medical, dental or eye examination or treatment; necessary care of or attendance to an immediate family member, or at the agency's discretion, another relative, for the above reasons until other attendance care reasonably be obtained; and death or funeral attendance for an immediate family member or, at the agency's discretion, for another person.   • Use of Sick Leave a. An employee, other than a casual employee, with responsibilities in relation to a class of person set out in subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (c) of this sub-clause, who needs the employee’s care and support shall be entitled to use, in accordance with this sub-clause, any current or accrued sick leave entitlements provided for in clause 18 of the award, sick leave, for absences to provide care and support for such persons when they are ill. Such leave may be taken for part of a single day.

  • Abuse of Sick Leave Misuse of leave, violation of orders, directives, or contractual requirements concerning the use of sick leave and other forms of leave used in lieu of sick leave are cause for disciplinary action.

  • Misuse of Sick Leave Use of sick leave for that which it was not intended or provided.

  • Use of Site 4.13.1 The Contractor shall confine operations at the site to areas permitted by law, including areas designated for operations or prohibited from operations by any applicable permit and or regulation, ordinances, permits and the Contract Documents and shall not unreasonably encumber the site with any materials or equipment.

  • Use of Space The COUNTY will provide the space located at: [insert Orange County Government Location] (the “Designated Space”) which shall be utilized by the AGENCY solely for the lawful purpose of providing the services. If no space is designated, this Article V does not apply.

The Allottee shall not be permitted to use the services areas in any manner whatsoever, other than those earmarked as parking spaces and the same shall be reserved for use by the Association for rendering maintenance services.
