Conditioning. Conditioning of an unbundled local loop includes, without limitation, cable unloading, cable loading, bridged tap removal, or any combination of these.

Conditioning. The pre-loading device may be separated from the safety-belt to be tested and kept for 24 hours at a temperature of 60 ± 5 °C. The temperature shall then be raised to 100 ± 5 °C for two hours. Subsequently it shall be kept for 24 hours at a temperature of -30 ± 5 °C. After being removed from conditioning, the device shall warm up to ambient temperature. If it has been separated it shall be fitted again to the safety-belt.

Conditioning. CLEC may order conditioning of shared lines, which may involve: (a) the removal of bridge taps, filter, extenders and load coils; (b) a line and station transfer; and/or (c) Digital Added Main Line (DAML) (consistent with the provisions of section 2.13 of this Agreement). VERIZON will perform loop conditioning if the loop loss for voice services is less than –8.0dB. Conditioning will not be provided in circumstances where such conditioning significantly degrades other advanced services or traditional voice band services as provided and described in FCC Rules 51.230, 51.233 and paragraphs 85, 86 and 201-205 of the Line Sharing Order.
