Concrete Pours. Concrete Pours will be commenced to take account of finishing times within the ordinary hours of work in Clause 34 of this Agreement.
Concrete Pours. An employee covered herein shall be employed where necessary when concrete is being poured on a job. Said employees shall realign reinforcing steel, set dowels, or see that wire mesh concrete reinforcement is in proper position.
Concrete Pours. 1. When concrete is poured on the job on a regular work day, the Laborer placing concrete will be worked or paid a minimum of three (3) hours, weather permitting. When the Laborer placing such concrete works greater than four (4) hours, but less than six (6) hour, he/she shall be paid a minimum of six (6) hours; where the Laborer works into the sixth (6th) hour of his regular shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of eight (8) hours, weather permitting.
Concrete Pours. After a schedule is agreed to as indicated above, and with particular reference to concrete pours, it is each individual subcontractor’s responsibility to make certain he has properly set all anchors, embedded items, sleeves, chases, elevation changes etc., in ample time so as not to delay the pour. It is also the subcontractor’s responsibility to protect his work in or on the forms during concrete placing, including, if necessary, having one or more men present during the concrete pouring and finishing operations.
Concrete Pours. Repositioning, retying, or replacing any reinforcing rods that may become displaced during the concrete pouring operations of footings, walls, slabs, and floors in bridge construction and other reinforced concrete structures shall be performed by Iron Workers. Re-positioning wire mesh in concrete floors or slabs during the concrete pouring operations will be performed by Iron Workers where Iron Workers have installed the mesh.
Concrete Pours. The Parties agree that it gives rise to a reasonable concern on the part of an employee undertaking the work of an imminent risk to their health or safety to commence concrete pours greater than 150m³ that are delayed after 11.00am. In the interest of safety the Company will not commence concrete pours over 150m³ that are delayed after 11.00am.
