Computer Monitors. When it becomes necessary to purchase new computer monitors, the Employer will use its best efforts to obtain equipment which maximizes user comfort and efficiency. Employee requests for arm rests, foot rests or other equipment shall be reviewed by the Labor-Management Committee and if mutually agreed upon shall be provided. Employees who operate computer monitors may take breaks approximately every two (2) hours in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.

Computer Monitors. No pregnant employee shall be required to work for extended periods of time, against her wishes, before a computer monitor. Upon written request, accompanied by receipt of a written statement from a legally qualified medical practitioner certifying the pregnancy and expected date of birth, the Employer will endeavor to reorganize the duties of the position such that the use of a computer monitor is minimized. Where the employee has had her original duties altered, she is entitled to return to her original duties after the pregnancy but she shall not be required to do so prior to six (6) weeks after return to work.
Computer Monitors. The Employer shall provide ergonomically appropriate work stations. When requested, the Employer shall make every effort to schedule at least fifteen (15) minutes of non-computer work every two (2) hours for those employees who work for extended periods of time at computer monitors. This work is in addition to rest periods provided by Article 13.05 and is not to be considered break time.
