COMPUTER AND DISPATCH OPERATIONS. Profanity or abusive language on the air or in your vehicle is prohibited at all times. No usage of cell phones while conveying a customer. Each taxicab and driver shall carry at all times a current street guide and map of the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton. Drivers are to make proper use of guidebook, to avoid unnecessary airtime with the supervisor. Parcel deliveries will be charged based on the meter only plus parking fees if needed. Parcel deliveries are to be taken directly to the destination. Running other fares while occupied on parcel delivery will not be permitted. Customer to sign back of charge chit when receiving parcel where possible as this is for driver’s own protection. If cash payment, person receiving parcel must sign a receipt card indicating date and time. All fares accepted on computer must be serviced without delay. No messages between drivers are permitted. Drivers will receive emergency messages to call: home, wife, parents, partner, owner or the union. Drivers are not allowed in the dispatch office. Picking up a fare while on the way to an accepted dispatch call, will not be permitted. Drivers must allow minutes wait at the customer’s pick-up address. Driver shall take reasonable steps to ensure that they pick-up only those fares they are dispatched to. Must check with Supervisor for authorisation before taking another fare from same address. If you have a pick-up, check with the computer supervisor to see if a car has already been assigned. If so, leave the fare alone. Refrain from voice communication. Voice communication is for emergencies and information only. No covering calls except for emergencies or mechanical breakdown. Interference or jamming of the computer and voice channels is a Federal Offence and will not be permitted. No new driver shall start working unless he has been instructed by qualified Blue Line personnel in the Operation of Computer, Radio Equipment. Failure to come to voice after requests by dispatch supervisor will result in driver being put into a "Reserve" position in the computer. All vehicles must have proper radio licenses for the radio and frequency in car at all times. CUSTOMER RELATIONS Drivers must be courteous and pleasant to customers at all times. Drivers must assist all customers with handling of baggage and opening and closing of doors when necessary. No complaining to customers about short fares or time calls.   • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Bank shall maintain and update from time to time business continuation and disaster recovery procedures with respect to its global custody business, which are designed, in the event of a significant business disruption affecting Bank, to be sufficient to enable Bank to resume and continue to perform its duties and obligations under this Agreement without undue delay or disruption. Bank shall test the operability of such procedures at least annually. Bank shall enter into and shall maintain in effect at all times during the term of this Agreement reasonable provision for (i) periodic back-up of the computer files and data with respect to Customer and (ii) use of alternative electronic data processing equipment to provide services under this Agreement. Upon reasonable request, Bank shall discuss with Customer any business continuation and disaster recovery procedures of Bank. Bank represents that its business continuation and disaster recovery procedures are appropriate for its business as a global custodian to investment companies registered under the 1940 Act.

  • Archival Back-Up and Disaster Recovery Licensee may use and copy the Product and related Documentation in connection with: i) reproducing a reasonable number of copies of the Product for archival backup and disaster recovery procedures in the event of destruction or corruption of the Product or disasters or emergencies which require Licensee to restore backup(s) or to initiate disaster recovery procedures for its platform or operating systems; ii) reproducing a reasonable number of copies of the Product and related Documentation for cold site storage. “Cold Site” storage shall be defined as a restorable back-up copy of the Product not to be installed until and after the declaration by the Licensee of a disaster; iii) reproducing a back-up copy of the Product to run for a reasonable period of time in conjunction with a documented consolidation or transfer otherwise allowed herein. “Disaster Recovery” shall be defined as the installation and storage of Product in ready-to-execute, back-up computer systems prior to disaster or breakdown which is not used for active production or development.

  • LIMITATIONS ON REVERSE ENGINEERING, DECOMPILATION AND DISASSEMBLY You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.

  • Measurements and Dimensions Before ordering material or doing work that is dependent upon coordination with building conditions, the Contractor shall verify all dimensions, elevations, grades, and pitch by taking measurements at the building and shall be responsible for the correctness of same. Any discrepancies between the drawings and/or specifications and the existing conditions shall be referred to the Design Professional for additional instructions before any work affected thereby is begun.

  • Permitted Uses and Disclosures of Phi by Business Associate Except as otherwise indicated in this Agreement, Business Associate may use or disclose PHI, inclusive of de-identified data derived from such PHI, only to perform functions, activities or services specified in this Agreement on behalf of DHCS, provided that such use or disclosure would not violate HIPAA or other applicable laws if done by DHCS.

  • PERMITTED USES AND DISCLOSURES BY CONTRACTOR Except as otherwise limited in this Schedule, Contractor may use or disclose Protected Health Information to perform functions, activities, or services for, or on behalf of, County as specified in the Agreement; provided that such use or disclosure would not violate the Privacy Rule if done by County.
