Compressed Schedule. A compressed work week is when an employee’s daily hours of work are increased in order to reduce the number of work days. Days off may vary from week to week. A compressed schedule may be drawn up which is based on a cycle of shifts through two or more weeks, averaging no more than the standard number of hours per week for the position.

Compressed Schedule. An employee on a compressed work week shall record as overtime any hours worked in excess of the applicable daily or weekly schedule.
