Components of the Transmission Project. The Developer shall design, engineer, procure, install, construct, test, and commission the Transmission Project as described in Appendix A of this Agreement, and pursuant to this Appendix B. Any Network Upgrade Facilities, including those described in Appendix A, shall be identified and finalized in the Transmission Interconnection Procedures and addressed in the Transmission Project Interconnection Agreement and/or associated engineering, procurement, and construction agreements among the Developer, the Connecting Transmission Owner(s) and/or Affected System Operator(s). Based on a preliminary design, the components of the Transmission Project will consist of the following major electrical and physical equipment:

Components of the Transmission Project a. The Transmission Project consists of the following components: • A new 345 kV/115 kV double-circuit transmission line from a new Xxxxxxxxxxxxx switching station to the existing Pleasant Valley substation, and the rebuild of approximately 2.1 miles of the 115 kV Blue Stores Tap; • A new 345 xX Xxxxxxxxxxxxx switching station at the proposed, greenfield site in Schodack, New York, which will house a 50% series compensator for the new 345 xX Xxxxxxxxxxxxx to Pleasant Valley transmission line; • Rebuild of the existing NYSEG Churchtown 115 kV switching station in Claverack, New York, which will require decommissioning of the existing facility; • Replacement of terminal equipment at the 345 kV Roseton substation to increase the thermal rating of Roseton to East Fishkill 345 kV transmission line #305 and the 345 kV New Scotland substation to increase the thermal ratings on the New Scotland to Xxxxxxxxxxxxx 345 kV transmission line #2A; and • Two new 135 MVAR 345 kV capacitor banks connected to the Pleasant Valley 345 kV substation.
Components of the Transmission Project. The Transmission Project consists of the following components: • Two (2) new 345 kV transmission circuits of approximately 67 miles from the existing Edic 345 kV substation to the new Princetown 345 kV substation; • Two (2) new 345 kV single-circuit transmission lines of approximately 5 miles between the new Princetown substation and the new Rotterdam 345 kV substation, one of which will connect to the new Princetown substation and the other will loop in the Edic portion of the existing Edic to New Scotland #14 345 kV transmission line; • One (1) new double-circuit 345 kV transmission line of approximately 20 miles between the new Princetown substation and the existing New Scotland substation; • Rebuild approximately six (6) miles of the existing Edic to New Scotland #14 345 kV transmission line to accommodate the new double-circuit 345 kV transmission line from Princetown to New Scotland; • A new Rotterdam 345/230/115 kV substation with one (1) 345 kV connection to the new Princetown substation, one (1) 345 kV connection to the existing Edic substation, two (2) new 345/115 kV transformers connecting to the existing Rotterdam 115 kV switchyard, and one (1) new 345/230 kV transformer connecting to the existing Rotterdam to Eastover Road #38 230 kV transmission line; • A new Princetown 345 kV substation with two (2) new 345 kV connections to the existing Edic substation, one (1) new 345 kV connection to the new Rotterdam substation, two (2) new 345 kV connections to the existing New Scotland substation, and one (1) 345 kV connection to the existing New Scotland substation via the partially rebuilt Edic to New Scotland #14 345 kV transmission line; • Decommissioning1 of the Rotterdam to New Scotland #13 115 kV transmission line; • Decommissioning of the Xxxxxx to Rotterdam #30 and #31 230 kV transmission lines; • Decommissioning of the Rotterdam 230 kV substation; and • Terminal upgrades at the Xxxxx and Edic 345 kV substations. The Transmission Project also included upgrades and expansions to existing transmission facilities owned by Transmission Owners, which will be identified as Network Upgrade 1 For purposes of this Appendix A, “decommissioning” means performing the activities required to remove such facilities from service in accordance with Good Utility Practice and subsequent removal of the facilities, as necessary.

The Transmission Project also includes additional upgrades to existing transmission facilities as identified by the NYPSC in its December 17, 2015, order identifying the AC Transmission Public Policy Transmission Needs—i.e., upgrades to the Rock Tavern 345 kV substation and Coopers Corners substation and upgrades to the Xxxxxxxxx to Sugarloaf 138 kV facilities. The Developer modified the upgrades identified by the NYPSC after performing engineering and design work, and such upgrades are generally referred to as the “Rock Tavern to Sugarloaf component.” Specifically, the Rock Tavern to Sugarloaf component contains the following facilities and related work: • Terminal upgrades to the Rock Tavern 345 kV substation and Coopers Corners substation; • Rebuild of the existing 115 kV Sugarloaf switching station, located in Chester, New York, as a four-breaker ring bus substation with a 115 kV/138 kV autotransformer; • Replacement of an existing 12-mile overhead 115 kV transmission line with a new 115 kV transmission line, beginning at the existing 115 kV Rock Tavern substation, located in New Windsor, New York, and terminating at the rebuilt 115 kV Sugarloaf switching station; and • A new 138 kV transmission line beginning at the existing, rebuilt 115 kV Sugarloaf switching station and terminating at the existing Orange and Rockland 138 kV Sugarloaf switching station.; and • Terminal upgrades to the Orange and Rockland 138 kV Sugarloaf switching station to accommodate the new 138 kV transmission line.   • Interoffice Transmission Facilities BellSouth shall provide nondiscriminatory access, in accordance with FCC Rule 51.311 and Section 251(c)(3) of the Act, to interoffice transmission facilities on an unbundled basis to <<customer_name>> for the provision of a telecommunications service.

  • Transmission Facilities The NTO owns certain transmission facilities over which the ISO will have day-to-day operational control to maintain these facilities in a reliable state, as defined by the Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria, and in accordance with the ISO Tariffs, ISO Related Agreements and ISO Procedures (“ISO Operational Control”). These NTO facilities shall be classified as “NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control,” and are listed in Appendix A-1 of this Agreement. The NTO also will be responsible for providing notification to the ISO with respect to actions related to certain other transmission facilities. These facilities shall be classified as “NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification,” and are listed in Appendix A-2 of this Agreement. Transmission facilities may be added to, or deleted from, the lists of facilities provided in Appendices A-1 and A-2 herein by mutual written agreement of the ISO and the NTO owning and controlling such facilities. Currently listed facilities will be posted on the ISO’s OASIS.

  • Merchant Transmission Facilities “Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities” shall mean transmission facilities that (1) employ technology which Transmission Provider reviews and verifies will permit control of the amount and/or direction of power flow on such facilities to such extent as to effectively enable the controllable facilities to be operated as if they were direct current transmission facilities, and

  • Transmission Owner Obligations Transmission Owner shall maintain its transmission facilities and Attachment Facilities in a safe and reliable manner and in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner Obligations Connecting Transmission Owner shall maintain its transmission facilities and Attachment Facilities in a safe and reliable manner and in accordance with this Agreement.

  • NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner Obligations Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO shall cause the New York State Transmission System and the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities to be operated, maintained and controlled in a safe and reliable manner in accordance with this Agreement and the NYISO Tariffs. Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO may provide operating instructions to Developer consistent with this Agreement, NYISO procedures and Connecting Transmission Owner’s operating protocols and procedures as they may change from time to time. Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO will consider changes to their respective operating protocols and procedures proposed by Developer.

  • Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner Notice Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each notify the other Party, first orally and then in writing, of the release of any Hazardous Substances, any asbestos or lead abatement activities, or any type of remediation activities related to the Large Generating Facility or the Attachment Facilities, each of which may reasonably be expected to affect the other Party. The notifying Party shall: (i) provide the notice as soon as practicable, provided such Party makes a good faith effort to provide the notice no later than twenty-four hours after such Party becomes aware of the occurrence; and (ii) promptly furnish to the other Party copies of any publicly available reports filed with any Governmental Authorities addressing such events.

  • Points of Interconnection and Trunk Types 2.1 Point(s) of Interconnection.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities described in Appendix A hereto, at the sole expense of the Developer.

  • Transmission Charge The cost for transporting electricity from the generation source to your electric distribution company. For most electric customers who select a new supplier, transmission costs will be included in the charges from your new supplier. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulates retail transmission prices and services. This charge will vary with your source of supply.
