Compliance with SMC Ch. 20.45: The Contractor shall comply with the requirements of SMC Ch. 20.45 and Equal Benefits Program Rules implementing such requirements, under which the Contractor is obligated to provide the same or equivalent benefits (“equal benefits”) to its employees with domestic partners as the Contractor provides to its employees with spouses. At Seattle’s request, the Contractor shall provide complete information and verification of the Contractor’s compliance with SMC Ch. 20.45. Failure to cooperate with such a request shall constitute a material breach of this Contract. Publicity. No news release, advertisement, promotional material, tour, or demonstration related to the City’s purchase or use of the Contractor’s product or any work performed pursuant to this Contract shall be produced, distributed or take place without the prior, specific written approval of the City’s Project Director or his/her designee.
