Common use of Completion Dates Clause in Contracts

Completion Dates. Time is of the essence in this contract. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the Work as expeditiously as the Work will permit, in such a manner as to cause no delay to any of the other contractors employed on the Project or to the completion of the Project as a whole and, subject to adjustments as provided by the Contract Documents, no later than calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed (the ' “Substantial Completion date”)’.
