Competency. Competency involves application of knowledge and skills to a limited range of tasks and roles. There is a specific range of contexts where the choice of actions is clear. The competencies are normally used within established routines, methods and procedures that are predictable. Judgments against established criteria may also be required.

Competency. Competency at this level involves the application of knowledge with depth in some areas and a broad range of skills. There is a wide variety of tasks and roles in a variety of contexts. There is complexity in the ranges and choice of actions required. Some tasks may require limited creative, planning or design functions. Competencies are normally used within a variety of routines, methods and procedures. Discretion and judgment are required for self and/or others in planning, selection of equipment, work organisation, services, actions and achieving outcomes within time constraints.
Competency. 8.3.1 Where there are matters of competency which are causing concern (for example failing to meet the primary principals’ professional standards), the Board shall put in place appropriate individual assistance and guidance to assist the principal; and for that purpose, may seek such appropriate professional advice as may be required.

Competency. 10.1 The Provider warrants that, to the best of its beliefs, none of the employees allocated to the Project, including any Subcontractors’ employees, is disqualified from or has a conflict of interest as regards completing the Project for the Customer. If the Provider is a consortium, the same rules shall apply to the members of the consortium.
