Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. Subject to Article 19.02 when any of the above-noted paid holidays falls on an Employee’s scheduled day off, the Employee shall receive a day’s pay or another day off with pay at a time designated by mutual agreement within thirty (30) days prior to or thirty (30) days following the holiday.
Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. Part-time Employees Eligible employees who are not required to work on the above holidays shall receive holiday pay based on their average earnings, as per the E.S.A. Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. When any of the above noted holidays fall on a regular or term employee's scheduled day off, they shall receive a day's pay or another day off with pay at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and their supervisor. Employees regularly scheduled for ten (10) or twelve (12) hours per day who did not work on the paid holiday shall receive eight (8) hours banked in lieu for each paid holiday. The time in lieu will be automatically banked to a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours of time off to be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and the supervisor.
Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. When any of the aforementioned paid holidays fall on the employee’s scheduled day off, the employee shall receive another day off with pay to be taken within sixty (60) days on a mutually agreed date. If such time off cannot be taken within sixty (60) days the employee will be paid one (1) day’s regular pay in lieu of time off. If an employee is required to work on a scheduled holiday during which school is closed, he/she shall receive pay at time and one half for all hours worked, plus either his/her regular rate of pay for time worked or comparable time off with pay, except for employees who are covered under the Appalachia Agreement at the time of signing of this Agreement as listed in the back, who will receive in addition to the above another hour off with pay at straight time for every hour worked.
