Compensation for Holidays on Saturday or Sunday. Any holiday falling on a Saturday or Sunday shall be celebrated on the following Monday. When Christmas and Boxing Day fall on Saturday and Sunday, or when Christmas falls on Sunday, Christmas and Boxing Day shall be celebrated on the following Monday and Tuesday. When Christmas falls on a Friday, the following Monday shall be observed as the Boxing Day holiday. Where a work unit operates on a shift schedule that includes Saturday or Sunday, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Canada Day will be celebrated on the days that they fall. (2016)
