Compensation Day. 11.03 Where a Friday(s) off falls in an employee’s vacation period, then the employee will be allowed to take a compensation day(s) at a time which is mutually agreeable between the employee and his/her Area Supervisor/Coordinator.

Compensation Day. For employees who receive one Friday off in each week cycle. And where a off falls in an employee's vacation period, then the employee will be allowed to take a Compensation at a time which is mutually agreeable between the employee and the employee's supervisor. This Compensation Day will be paid at eight (8) hours straight time in the pay period during which it is taken. An employee will not be asked nor will the employee volunteer to work employee’s designated Compensation Day except an employee may be asked to work in emergencies, and will not be charged with refusal if the employee declines. Day refers to the (24) hour period immediately following the a.m. starting time the day it is taken.
Compensation Day. A. It is agreed that one, eight (8) hour compensatory day will be given to each officer working a rotating eight (8) hour schedule after being scheduled to work the eleven to seven (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) Shift.

  • Election Day Employees shall be granted two (2) hours to vote on any election day only if, due to scheduling of work, they would not otherwise be able to vote.
