Community Service Officer. Employees in the classification of Community Service Officer who are required to work a regular shift by either rotation or assignment which occurs between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid an addition to their basic compensation, an eight percent (8%) premium for all or any portion of hours worked between these hours. There shall be no shift premium paid when the employee is not actually working. Employees working a day shift flexible work schedule which extends into the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shall not be eligible for shift premium Community Service Officers working a regular day shift which falls between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. shall be eligible for shift premium only when four (4) or more hours of overtime are worked on a given day. Shift premium shall only be paid for overtime hours worked beyond 5:00 p.m. Shift premium shall not be paid during periods of temporary reassignment.

Community Service Officer. Crime Scene Investigator and any other position recommended in writing by the Police Chief and approved by the City Manager. Special Assignments that require a reduction in hours from the standard 84-hour patrol schedule will not reduce an assigned employee’s annual salary. Employees assigned to any Special Assignments that require an 80-hour pay period work schedule will be moved to the Police Officer (2080) salary schedule.

Community Service Officer any paid non-sworn employee, whether full or part-time, who performs limited field duties in conjunction with or support of other police personnel.
Community Service Officer. It is further understood and agreed that in the event an employee requests or is transferred from a specialty assignment to patrol duties during a shift schedule period, such a change will not trigger an obligation to conduct new shift rotations or alter current shift preferences made pursuant to Section G1, above. The City shall assign any such employee a shift for the remainder of the current shift schedule which is based on operational needs. Officers scheduled to end an assignment may shift bid with other officers during the normal shift bid process in anticipation of the end of the assignment.
Community Service Officer. Community Service Officers scheduled to work on an authorized holiday shall receive the day off with pay, not to exceed eight (8) hours of pay for any one (1) day. The employee shall have the option of working the number of hours above the eight (8) hours of holiday pay in order to account for a full work day, or shall have the option of using time from a leave bank in order to be paid for a full work day. Any hours worked in order to account for a full work day on the holiday will be paid at the employee’s straight time hourly rate. For instance, if an employee is scheduled to work a ten (10) hour shift on a holiday, the employee will have the option of working two (2) hours, or using two (2) hours from a leave bank.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include:

  • Human Resources (i) Advice and assistance in relation to the staffing of Party B, including assistance in the recruitment, employment and secondment of management personnel, administrative personnel and staff of Party B;
