Community Right to Know shall comply with all valid and applicable so-called “Community Right to Know” legislation, whether arising under the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act or under the laws of the State of New York, with respect to the specific facilities which @@@ operates, maintains, or owns under this Agreement or for which @@@ is responsible as set forth in Attachment B to this Agreement.

Community Right to Know. Millennium shall comply with all valid and applicable so-called “Community Right to Know” legislation, whether arising under the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act or under the laws of the State of New York, with respect to the specific facilities which Millennium operates, maintains, or owns under this Agreement or for which Millennium is responsible as set forth in Attachment B to this Agreement.

  • Right to Know “Right to Know” legislation required the Department of Labor and Industries to establish a program to make employers and employees more aware of the hazardous substances in their work environment. WAC 000-00-000 requires among other things that all manufacturers/distributors of hazardous substances, including any of the items listed on this ITB, RFP or contract bid and subsequent award, must include with each delivery completed Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for each hazardous material. Additionally, each container of hazardous material must be appropriately labeled with: the identity of the hazardous material, appropriate hazardous warnings, and the Name and Address of the chemical manufacturer, improper, or other responsible party Labor and Industries may levy appropriate fines against employers for noncompliance and agencies may withhold payment pending receipt of a legible copy of the MSDS. OSHA Form 20 is not acceptable in lieu of this requirement unless it is modified to include appropriate information relative to “carcinogenic ingredients: and “routes of entry” of the product(s) in question

  • RIGHT TO KNOW LAW a. The Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101-3104, (“RTKL”) applies to this Contract.

  • Citizen Volunteer or Community Service Leave Leave without pay may be granted for community volunteerism or service.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • Protection of the Environment 14.1 The Government and the Contractor recognise that Petroleum Operations will cause some impact on the environment in the Contract Area. Accordingly, in performance of the Contract, the Contractor shall conduct its Petroleum Operations with due regard to concerns with respect to protection of the environment and conservation of natural resources and shall in particular;

  • Public Safety The Permittee shall comply with the following provisions.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS The Contractor, it’s Subcontractors, and their respective employees, shall comply fully with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in the performance of the services, including but not limited to those promulgated by the City and by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In case of conflict, the most stringent safety requirement shall govern. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold the City harmless from and against all claims, demands, suits, actions, judgments, fines, penalties and liability of every kind arising from the breach of the Contractor’s obligations under this paragraph.

  • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • THE ACADEMY 2.1 The Company will establish and maintain, and carry on or provide for the carrying on of the Academy in accordance with the Master Agreement and this Agreement.

  • Restrictions on Use of Hazardous Substances Borrower will not cause or permit the presence, use, disposal, storage, or release of any Hazardous Substances, or threaten to release any Hazardous Substances, on or in the Property. Borrower will not do, nor allow anyone else to do, anything affecting the Property that: (i) violates Environmental Law; (ii) creates an Environmental Condition; or (iii) due to the presence, use, or release of a Hazardous Substance, creates a condition that adversely affects or could adversely affect the value of the Property. The preceding two sentences will not apply to the presence, use, or storage on the Property of small quantities of Hazardous Substances that are generally recognized to be appropriate to normal residential uses and to maintenance of the Property (including, but not limited to, hazardous substances in consumer products).
