Community Rail Partnerships. 8.26 The Franchise Agreements provide that the franchisee shall co-operate with the Secretary of State, Network Rail, the Association of Community Rail Partnerships, local transport authorities and/or any other person as the Secretary of State may nominate for the purposes of developing and furthering the success of Community Rail Partnerships. Rail North shall support the development and success of Community Rail Partnerships. A Member or Regional Group may submit proposals to the Board for the allocation of responsibilities to a designated Community Rail Partnership provided that such a proposal is in accordance with the Community Rail Development Strategy approved by the Strategic Board.
