Community Outreach Program. In connection with its development of the Arena, OVG shall hire a full-time community liaison who will run day-to-day outreach operations. This individual will coordinate efforts with Xxxxx 100, the City, and other local community organizations to ensure that OVG’s hiring practices minimize barriers to entry for WMBEs and underrepresented communities. During design and construction, the community liaison will provide information and access to prioritize hiring women and minorities. During operations, the community liaison will partner with local schools, colleges, and universities, along with community groups, to create job shadowing opportunities and mentoring connections that highlight women and minorities in leadership.

Community Outreach Program. Provide up-to-date information to County residents and provide a forum to facilitate information exchange and to coordinate activities pertaining to the development of Approved Projects in the County.
Community Outreach Program. The Manager shall meet with community and religious organizations based in the County each Fiscal Year during the Term to provide an update on the Program. These meetings shall be conducted in a spirit of mutual good faith, with information to be freely exchanged for the purposes of (i) updating the community on the status of the Program and benefits achieved to date, and (ii) discussing ways in which County residents can perform their own stormwater retrofits and receive stormwater mitigation credits.

Community Outreach Program. A Community Engagement Strategy will be developed and implemented for the Housing Element. The Strategy will ensure that a broad array of community interests is represented, including Rolling Hills residents, Councilmembers and Planning Commissioners, and local housing advocates and stakeholder groups. Project-specific outreach materials will be prepared and a unique project identity or “brand” will be established. A dedicated Housing Element webpage will be designed for the City’s website, with materials posted to the site as they are developed. The purpose of these meetings is to provide an overview of the project, create an opportunity for the public to speak, and enable Commissioners and Council members to express their views on potential policies and strategies. • Two Community Workshops. The first workshop would likely be a virtual (Zoom) workshop, since it would be convened in April-May. Zoom polling features could be used so that residents can weigh in on different strategies for meeting future housing needs, with real-time poll results. Each polling question would be followed by a discussion of the topic, allowing participants to verbalize their views. The second workshop would be in Summer 2021, upon release of the Draft Element. Depending on health orders at the time, an “in person” event could be scheduled. One possibility would be to format the second workshop as an “open houseto assist residents interested in ADUs, including information on resources, prototypes, and the process for developing ADUs on their properties. • Two to three focus groups. Each focus group would include four to six participants. These could include residents, housing advocates, service providers, and other groups who have an interest in local housing policy. A group (such as a task force) that meets monthly throughout the project is not envisioned or budgeted. Given the short turnaround time for the project, other means of input may be more effective. • Surveys. The City administered an ADU survey as part of its 5th Cycle Element. A follow up survey could be considered for the 6th Cycle, testing various ADU incentives. • Media. Community Outreach Program. PG&E has or will conduct outreach to various community groups and stakeholders in the vicinity of the Project, for educating the public with respect to the Project, and for informing the Board of Supervisors and other Regulatory Agencies about the Project ("Community Outreach Program"). The Community Outreach Program may be conducted in conjunction with one or more public workshops conducted by the CPUC related to the Project. Port may suggest reasonable revisions or changes to the proposed Community Outreach Program, if any, which Licensee shall consider in good faith. Licensee agrees and acknowledges that maintaining professional working relations with Port's constituents, the public and Regulatory Agencies are critical to implementing Port's management obligations.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include:

The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.
