COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. The Communication Committee is composed of Association president, vice-president, and representatives from all buildings and special areas and the Superintendent of Schools (and such other necessary administrative personnel). The purpose of this group is to maintain open lines of communication between staff and Superintendent of schools, but shall not be used to circumvent the negotiations process set forth in this Master Agreement. Any questions or issues that could be addressed by administrators other than the Superintendent must be presented to the appropriate administrator(s) prior to being submitted to the Superintendent in a Communication Committee meeting. Meetings shall be held monthly during the course of the school year unless mutually suspended by the Association president and the Superintendent. Questions or issues to be discussed during Communication Committee meetings shall be submitted to the Superintendent at least five (5) workdays prior to the meeting.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. Section 1. The Police Chief and the City Manager’s designee may meet monthly, as needed, with representatives of the Fort Dodge Police Bargaining Unit. The purpose of said meetings is to informally discuss matters of concern and/or interest to either party. On-duty time shall be provided for three Bargaining Committee Officers and may be increased if both parties mutually agree.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. (A) Establishment and Purpose The Communication Committee shall be jointly established each year by the Artists and the Engager. The purpose of the Communication Committee will be to encourage open, candid dialogue between the Artists and the Engager, and to afford both parties an opportunity to pose questions of one another, offer suggestions, and generally improve communication and understanding of respective problems and concerns.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. A. The HEA Communication Committee, the superintendent, and the building principals will meet once a month, the first Monday of every month, from September to May of the school year, to discuss non-negotiable items. The communication committee will consist of three (3) HEA negotiation team members and two (2) teachers to be selected by administration. In addition, if deemed necessary by the superintendent or the Association, a special meeting may be called by the superintendent or an HEA communication team representative. The Communication Committee shall email items for discussion to the superintendent by noon the same day of the meeting. The committee shall meet in the first Monday of every other month (odd months/communications meeting), starting in September, at a location convenient to all committee members, and the committee shall meet and confer in “good faith” on matters including, but not limited to, the improvement of the school system, problem areas within the school system, etc. It shall be the goal of the Advisory Communication Committee to keep the lines of communication open between the Administration and the Association so that problems and potential problems may be better and more openly dealt with.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. 6.01 The QBEA and the Board of Education recognize the importance of communication in maintaining good relationships and agree to meet at least quarterly to discuss District-wide matters. The committee will not negotiate terms and conditions of employment, adjust grievances or address personnel issues. The QBEA will appoint representatives from each building and from each employee group in the bargaining unit, not to exceed eight (8) members. The Board and Administration representatives will include the Superintendent, the administrator responsible for curriculum, building administrators, one member of the Board of Education and others as needed (5-6 members). The Communication Committee will be co-chaired by the Superintendent and the President of the QBEA. All members of the committee will be trained in the interest-based process. Meeting minutes will be produced and distributed after each meeting.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. During the school year, the principals may meet at their assigned school building upon request of either party, not more than once a month for one (1) hour before or after the school day, with a Communication Committee consisting of no more than three (3) Association members elected by the teaching staff from the building to discuss school problems and practices. The Committee shall review building practices for incentives/rewards for teachers.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. Representatives of the Union and the Administration shall agree to meet and discuss employee concerns, working conditions, and the operation of the District. These discussions may include issues and items that are not included in this Agreement. The Union President will appoint a representative from each job area of the bargaining unit to serve for a period of one year on this committee. The parties shall establish a mutually agreeable schedule for meeting. Prior to each meeting, an agenda of items to be discussed shall be submitted to allow the parties to be prepared to fully discuss the items. The agenda may be amended by mutual agreement of the parties. Agenda items should not include matters which have not been first discussed or addressed at appropriate levels. If meetings are scheduled during the normal working hours of those members of the bargaining unit who serve as members of this committee, those members shall be released from their regularly assigned duties, without loss of pay, for purposes of participating in meetings of this committee. The spirit of these discussions shall be one of mutual communication and sharing that can lead to the mutual resolution of problems, issues, and concerns. These conferences shall not be considered "negotiations." The subject matter discussed shall be considered as being important to the professional relations between the Union and the Administration.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. A Labor —Management Committee will be established for the purpose of communicating concerns.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. 26.01 Informal committees shall be established as an aid to communications between the staff and Administration. The membership on one (1) committee shall be the Superintendent (or his/her designee) and a maximum of three (3) persons appointed at the discretion of the Superintendent, plus the Association President (or his/her designee) and a maximum of three (3) persons appointed at the discretion of the Association President. In each building another committee shall be formed consisting of the building principal(s) and building Association representative(s).
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE i. A Communication Committee composed of a mutually agreed, equal number of representatives of the Employer and the nursing employees at the Facility. Meetings of this Committee shall be held regularly, but not more than once every three (3) months without the consent of both parties. Notice of such a meeting, together with the agenda, must be given at least ten (10) days before the proposed meeting date, but a majority vote of those at the meeting may expand or reduce the original agenda.
