COMMUNICATION AND NOTIFICATION. All communications to the Contract Owner or to Nationwide, as required under this Contract, shall be in writing, except where the Contract specifies the use of electronic format(s) for use on the Internet. The Written Communication shall be addressed to the Contract Owner at their principal address or to Nationwide at its home office. The Contract Owner shall notify Nationwide at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of the following events:

COMMUNICATION AND NOTIFICATION. Communication or notification between the parties, within the scope of this insurance contract, only takes effect if done by registered letter or by any other means with written proof, sent to the most recent address of the Policyholder and/or the Insured Person, as shown in the contract or to the Insurer’s head office. However, the Insurer should be notified of any change in the address or head office of the Policyholder and/or the Insured Person, within 30 days following the date on which these changes are made, by registered letter or by any other means with written registration, at the risk of any communication or notification from the Insurer being sent to the wrong address, but one which it holds as valid and in effect. Communication or notification from the Insurer provided for in this policy is considered valid and fully in effect if sent by registered mail, or by any other means with written registration, to the most recent address for the Policyholder and/or the Insured Person that appears in the contract, or of which the Insurer has been notified in the terms laid down in the previous number.

This will be the primary means by which the City will notify the Operator to report for duty. It will be the responsibility of the Operator to inform the City representative of any problem in receiving periodic, scheduled test pages/notifications. The City will send a message to the provided cell phone number and the Operator must call the phone number on the message within thirty (30) minutes to confirm. The Operator shall report to their assigned Public Works Facility and check in with dispatcher within two (2) hours from the time of being paged/notified. The mobile phone number provided to the City shall be used as backup communication to the City. This means of communication shall remain available and operational from time of text notification until released from duty. While on duty, Operators assigned to routes must maintain an active mobile phone as a backup contact for City representatives. Mobile phone numbers shall be consistent to the assigned snow route area thru the duration of the agreement. Changes to any mobile phone number which alters the backup communication to the provided snow plow equipment assigned to a specific area snow route shall be coordinated with the City prior to making any such changes. Operator will report to the Lead Shift Supervisor upon arrival at the Public Works facility and receive an AVL device. If the unit fails or malfunctions while the Operator is in the field Operator shall notify City dispatcher promptly. City will provide each Operator one (1) hand-held radio per route. A call-sign, or number, will be assigned to each Operator and that is the primary means of identification by voice. The radio is to be returned in good operating condition at the end of the snow event or the Contractor will be charged the radio’s replacement cost. Operator is to notify the City dispatcher when they start their assigned snow route. Thereafter, the Operator will report by two-way radio or cell phone as each segment is completed, or when going back to the Public Works facility for additional material, or if any problem occur...
COMMUNICATION AND NOTIFICATION. Contractor shall provide the City’s Parks Services representative a mobile number which the City can use to remotely contact the Contractor for the duration of this Agreement. City will send a text message to the mobile number provided and the Contractor will call the number shown within thirty (30) minutes to confirm. Should the Contractor fail to call back after the message is issued, a direct call will be made to the provided telephone number. Contractor's approved vehicles and Operators shall report in person to the designated City facility ready to commence work within ninety (90) minutes of receipt of message. Contractor shall be required to directly contact the City’s Parks Services representative upon arrival at the designated area, and shall immediately commence after logging in. Contractor shall provide means for communication to the City’s Parks Services representative. Means of communication shall remain operational throughout the duration of snow event and will be used for contact with City’s Parks Services representative. Phone numbers should be consistent throughout the season. OPERATIONS: Operator shall plow snow from and treat City facility parking lots and clear snow from sidewalks around said facilities. Contractor will have sidewalks cleared down to bare concrete the full width of the sidewalk. City understands that Xxxxx X. Xxxxx, W. Xxxx Xxxxxxx, and Westgate parking lots may not be totally cleared of snow due to round-the-clock police operations. COMMUNICATION AND NOTIFICATION. (a) Except as provided in Section 6.15(c), it is understood and agreed that prior to the Closing Date neither Buyer nor its representatives shall contact any of the employees, customers or suppliers of the Company or its Subsidiaries, in connection with the transactions contemplated hereby, whether in person or by telephone, mail or other means of communication, without the specific prior written authorization of the Representative or his designee, which authorization shall not be unreasonably withheld.
