Common use of Common Area Standards Clause in Contracts

Common Area Standards. Residents will be jointly and severally responsible for cleanliness, vandalism and damages that are not considered normal wear and tear in common areas (i.e. hallways, bathrooms, lounges, elevators stairwells, etc.) Costs for repairs, cleaning, or replacement of Humber property will be assigned to each Resident as determined by Residence Staff. All Residents are expected to participate in maintaining a standard of cleanliness and repair which constitutes a hospitable and civil environment for everyone.
