COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 17.01 The Union shall notify the Company in writing, within one (1) week of their appointment or election, of the names of all Union Officers, Committeemen and Stewards.

The Company will a negotiating committee of up to five members, elected or appointed by the membership of the local union. The negotiating committee shall be allowed one day off work without pay, for the purpose of preparing contract proposals for approval of the Local Union Membership prior to presentation of such proposals to Company for negotiations. Leave of absence shall granted on two weeks written notice to the Company.
COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 5.01 The Union may select, appoint or elect and the Company shall recognize a committee of not more than five (5) employees of the Company, who shall be the Shop Stewards and who shall form the Plant Committee. All such employees must be regular employees of the Company during their time of office. The name and area of the Chairman of the Plant Committee, from time to time selected, shall be given to the Company in writing and the Company shall not be required to recognize any such Chairman until it has been so notified. The Company shall recognize a Union Grievance Committee composed of two (2) Shop Stewards and the Plant Chairman.

COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 16.01 The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select Stewards, members of the Bargaining Unit, to represent the employees in the presentation of grievances to the Company. A Xxxxxxx shall be designated as Chief Xxxxxxx. It is agreed that the number and the geographical distribution of the Stewards may be adjusted by mutual agreement when deemed necessary. It is further agreed that the ratio of Stewards to Bargaining Unit employees will not exceed 25 to 1. On any shift other than the regular day shift requiring in excess of 15 employees, the Union may designate an additional Xxxxxxx.
