Committee Support. To support its activities, the Grievance Committee shall receive a budget of $1,500.00 per academic year. The cost shall be borne equally by the AAUP and the University. Funds remaining in the Grievance Committee budget at the end of each academic year shall not accrue to the following year. The Committee budget may be used for refreshments or meals during panel hearings, parking expenses, and other expenses directly related to the performance of the Grievance Committee’s duties. The Committee’s budget shall not be used to pay for the cost of the recording of panel hearings; those costs shall be paid by the AAUP and the University in equal shares.
