Committee Responsibility. The committee is also responsible for evaluating and approving staff membersindividual professional development requests based on criteria established by the committee. The Board will establish and maintain an account in the amount of $75,000 solely for the payment of expenses of Members attending such meetings. The payment of expenses will be inclusive of the cost of a substitute teacher. When Members are required to attend meetings and conferences due to significant curriculum changes, the Board will provide additional funds to pay for their expenses.
