Commercial Containers a. The Franchisee is required to provide roll carts or containers to all commercial customers. When a customer initiates service, the Franchisee shall provide containers to a customer no later than five business days from the time of the customer request. Receptacles shall be designed for safe handling and shall be durable, easy to clean, and be provided with connected lids or covers that can be readily opened. Receptacles shall be clearly identified by displaying the Franchisee name, telephone number and logo prominently and conspicuously on the container. Any additional information, graphics or signage shall be reviewed and approved by the City Administrator or designee. Receptacles must be clean when delivered to the customer.
Commercial Containers. Contractor shall supply each Commercial Customer with Organic Materials Container(s) to adequately service the needs of the Premises. Notwithstanding this Section, Contractor shall not be required to provide Organic Materials Container(s) to a Commercial Customer that is exempted from Organic Materials services by the City or has demonstrated to the City that it is Diverting Organic Materials through subscription with another City-approved contractor, or other City -approved method, for the duration of the approved exemption. Commercial Containers. Franchisee shall supply each Commercial Customer with the Recyclable Materials Container(s) to adequately service the needs of the Premises. Notwithstanding this Section, Franchisee shall not be required to provide Recyclable Materials Container(s) to a Commercial Customer that is exempted from Recyclable Materials services by the City or has demonstrated to the City that it is Diverting Recyclable Materials through subscription with another City-approved contractor, or other City -approved method, for the duration of the approved exemption.
Commercial Containers. Commercial customers shall be required to use mechanically dumped metal containers (“ dumpsters”) as provided by the Contractor and approved by the City (“ Approved Commercial Container”). Contractor is required to maintain dumpsters to provide the safe, efficient and functional storage and collection of solid waste and to present a non-objectionable appearance as determined by the City. Contractor’s employees shall report to its Customer Service Department the condition of any container which requires repair. Contractor shall replace the dumpster if repairs cannot be made on site within three (3) working days of notification. Casters shall be required on all containers that cannot be collected from a stationary point at the service location. Caster swivel units shall be maintained in good working condition to ensure the free movement of the swivel mechanism and/ or wheel. Dumpsters shall be positioned in compliance with all applicable City ordinances.

  • Preservative-treated Wood Containing Arsenic Contractor may not purchase preservative-treated wood products containing arsenic in the performance of this Agreement unless an exemption from the requirements of Chapter 13 of the San Francisco Environment Code is obtained from the Department of the Environment under Section 1304 of the Code. The term “preservative-treated wood containing arsenic” shall mean wood treated with a preservative that contains arsenic, elemental arsenic, or an arsenic copper combination, including, but not limited to, chromated copper arsenate preservative, ammoniacal copper zinc arsenate preservative, or ammoniacal copper arsenate preservative. Contractor may purchase preservative-treated wood products on the list of environmentally preferable alternatives prepared and adopted by the Department of the Environment. This provision does not preclude Contractor from purchasing preservative-treated wood containing arsenic for saltwater immersion. The term “saltwater immersion” shall mean a pressure-treated wood that is used for construction purposes or facilities that are partially or totally immersed in saltwater.

  • SITE EXAMINATION Contractor has examined the Site and certifies that it accepts all measurements, specifications and conditions affecting the Work to be performed at the Site. By submitting its quote, Contractor warrants that it has made all Site examination(s) that it deems necessary as to the condition of the Site, its accessibility for materials, workers and utilities, and Contractor’s ability to protect existing surface and subsurface improvements. No claim for allowance of time or money will be allowed as to any other undiscovered condition on the Site.
