  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Transfer/Assignment (A) Subject to compliance with clause (B) of this Section 8, this Warrant and all rights hereunder are transferable, in whole or in part, upon the books of the Company by the registered holder hereof in person or by duly authorized attorney, and a new warrant shall be made and delivered by the Company, of the same tenor and date as this Warrant but registered in the name of one or more transferees, upon surrender of this Warrant, duly endorsed, to the office or agency of the Company described in Section 3. All expenses (other than stock transfer taxes) and other charges payable in connection with the preparation, execution and delivery of the new warrants pursuant to this Section 8 shall be paid by the Company.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Change of Control; Assignment and Subcontracting Except as set forth in this Section 7.5, neither party may assign any of its rights and obligations under this Agreement without the prior written approval of the other party, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld. For purposes of this Section 7.5, a direct or indirect change of control of Registry Operator or any subcontracting arrangement that relates to any Critical Function (as identified in Section 6 of Specification 10) for the TLD (a “Material Subcontracting Arrangement”) shall be deemed an assignment.

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.

  • Assignment to Owners Interconnection Customer may assign the Interconnection Service Agreement without the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s or Transmission Provider’s prior consent to any Affiliate or person that purchases or otherwise acquires, directly or indirectly, all or substantially all of the Customer Facility and the Customer Interconnection Facilities, provided that prior to the effective date of any such assignment, the assignee shall demonstrate that, as of the effective date of the assignment, the assignee has the technical and operational competence to comply with the requirements of this Interconnection Service Agreement and assumes in a writing provided to the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider all rights, duties, and obligations of Interconnection Customer arising under this Interconnection Service Agreement. However, any assignment described herein shall not relieve or discharge the Interconnection Customer from any of its obligations hereunder absent the written consent of the Transmission Provider, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACT 16.1. If any Affiliate of either Party succeeds to that portion of the business of such Party that is responsible for, or entitled to, any rights, obligations, duties, or other interests under this Agreement, such Affiliate may succeed to those rights, obligations, duties, and interest of such Party under this Agreement. In the event of any such succession hereunder, the successor shall expressly undertake in writing to the other Party the performance and liability for those obligations and duties as to which it is succeeding a Party to this Agreement. Thereafter, the successor Party shall be deemed CLEC or Sprint and the original Party shall be relieved of such obligations and duties, except for matters arising out of events occurring prior to the date of such undertaking.

  • Hospital Central Agreement March The duration of such supernumerary appointments will be for the period of funding (currently months) or such other period as the local parties may agree; Such nurses will not be permitted to transfer out of the supernumerary position on the unit for the duration of the supernumerary appointment; Such nurses can apply for posted positions after the probationary period is completed but cannot transfer until completion of the supernumerary appointment; If the nurse has not successfully posted into a permanent position by the end of the supernumerary appointment, will be reclassified as casual part-time and this will not be considered a lay-off and the nurse will not be reassigned; The Hospital bears the onus of demonstrating that such positions are supernumerary; The Association will be provided with such written information as it may reasonably require regarding each supernumerary position; In the event of a layoff in the area of assignment of the supernumerary nurse, either the Hospital or the Local Association may require that the supernumerary nurse shall be first laid off. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING RE: REDESIGN agrees to establish a provincial working group with the Participating Hospitals consisting of at least representatives from each side to investigate sick leave utilization and the Hospitals’ proposed changes to with a view to addressing the Hospitals’ concerns and to make recommendations to the parties on appropriate changes to be made to The working group will have access to expertise and resources as appropriate. The working group will commence meeting within months of the date of the award. The working group will arrange its activities in order to endeavour to arrive at recommendations for the parties in advance of the next round of negotiations or such longer period as the working group may agree. The time spent by the members on the working group will be deemed time worked and members will be compensated at their regular straight time hourly rate. members on the working group will be granted such time off as is deemed necessary to participate in the work.
