COLLEGE and SCHOOL. “College and “school” shall be synonymous and shall refer to the various units of educational instruction which comprise the University. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “college” shall refer to the following colleges and/or school of the University: St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, The Xxxxx X. Xxxxx College of Business, the School of Education and the College of Professional Studies. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “college” shall not be deemed to include the School of Law. Continuing Adjunct Faculty Member “Continuing adjunct faculty member” shall refer to an adjunct faculty member (i) who has taught in the fall and spring semesters of the preceding academic year; (ii) one whose specialty is such that the particular course is offered in only one of the two semesters of the academic year and the adjunct faculty member has taught such specialty in the two previous semesters in which the course was offered; or (iii) who, in the opinion of the Xxxxxxx, as a result of past services to the University, should equitably be considered as a continuing adjunct faculty member.
COLLEGE and SCHOOL. DISTRICT understand and agree that education records of students enrolled in the CCAP course(s) and personally identifiable information contained in those educational records are subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) 20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 C.F.R. Part 99, including the disclosure provisions of § 99.30 and state law as set forth in Education Code‌ §§ 49064 and 49076). COLLEGE and SCHOOL DISTRICT agree to hold all student education records generated pursuant to this CCAP Agreement in strict confidence, and further agree not to re-disclose such records except as authorized by applicable law or regulation or by the parent or guardian’s prior written consent.
