Collective Bargaining Agreement Negotiations. The Employer will provide paid release time for attending formal negotiations for up to seven (7) Union team members who are scheduled to work on the day preparations or negotiations are being conducted. Any per diem and travel expenses will be paid by the Union for Union team members. No overtime will be incurred as a result of preparing for, traveling to and from, and attending formal negotiations.

Collective Bargaining Agreement Negotiations. The Medical Center shall create a central PTO bank for the purposes of collecting donated PTO for the Association’s negotiation team use. A nurse may donate PTO hours previously accrued to a central bank of PTO hours donated by nurses for use by the Association’s Bargaining Committee members during attendance (hours paid up to assigned FTE) at negotiations sessions with the Medical Center for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Medical Center’s PTO donation form (Appendix D) must be completed and submitted to the Medical Center for the donation to occur.
