Co-operation on Safety. The Union and the Employer shall co-operate in making every reasonable provision for the safety and health of employees.

Co-operation on Safety. The Union and the Employer shall co-operate in promoting and improving rules and practices which promote an occupational environment which will enhance the physiological and psychological conditions of employees and which will provide protection from factors adverse to employee health and safety. There shall be no discrimination, no penalty, no intimidation and no coercion when employees comply with this Health and Safety Article.
Co-operation on Safety. It is in the mutual interest of the Union and the Employer to promote health and safety in the workplace and to prevent the occurrence of workplace injuries. The parties agree that employees have the right to a safe and healthy environment and agree to promote health and safety.
Co-operation on Safety. The Employer, the Union and all employees agree to follow the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The principle provides that all parties, where applicable, share the responsibility in the prevention of accidents and the promotion of health and safety in the workplace. The Union will endeavour to elect members and alternates to the various local Occupational Health and Safety committees for a minimum of two (2) years with members and alternates elected in alternating years.
Co-operation on Safety. The Union and the Employer shall co-operate in establishing a joint health and safety committee under Occupational Health and Safety Act, as may be amended from time to time (“OHSA”).
Co-operation on Safety. It is agreed that the Employer, the Union, the employees and all levels of supervision will co- operate fully to promote safe work practices, healthy working conditions and compliance with The Saskatchewan Employment Act, The Occupational Health & Safety Act, 1993 and its regulations. The Union, through the participation of its members in the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee(s), will provide input into issues of occupational health and safety on campus and will assist wherever possible in the furtherance of safe conditions and practices. The Employer will keep under review the use or presence, at the place of employment, of chemical or biological substances which may be hazardous to the health or safety of workers. Any employee may request that the Xxxx, Administrative Head or designate substitute a safe or less hazardous substance for any chemical or biological substance currently in use. The Occupational Health Committee will co-operate in advising the employees through their Xxxx, Administrative Head or designate on the possibility of using suitable substitutions.
Co-operation on Safety. The Union and the Employer recognize that occupational health and safety is a shared concern, and they will cooperate in promoting and improving rules, training and practices that will enhance the work environment for all employees. Notwithstanding the above, the parties recognize the Employer’s responsibility to ensure, insofar as reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare at work of all the Employer’s employees. Additionally, the parties recognize the employees’ responsibility to take reasonable care to protect their health and safety and the health and safety of the students and other employees who may be reasonably affected by their acts or omissions.
