Common use of Clothing Clause in Contracts

Clothing. The Company shall continue to make provisions for the safety and health of employees while at work. The Company shall continue its practice of providing safety equipment and devices and such clothing (including shoes) as the Company requires employees to wear for their own protection. The term “requires” as used herein does not imply that the present policy of making clothes available on certain specified jobs shall be changed. It is intended; however, that the present policy shall remain flexible to meet changing conditions.
